Herringbone wood flooring is the traditional style or pattern for laying parquet blocks. The blocks of flooring are much smaller than normal flooring planks and have been designed to create the unique 'herringbone' zig zag pattern. You will fit the blocks of flooring together to give a staggered zigzag pattern. The ends of the planks are left at a 90 degree angle so you will stagger the pattern instead of creating a 'V' shape.
