Standard A grade quarter sawn walnut veneer has a tendency to be even in color and generally allows for some flaws such as occasional pin knots and very slight figure or flashing. It is typically book matched with the grain running along the 8' dimension. Walnut is a hardwood of medium density, very easy to deal with and strong. It is light with a consistent moderately rough texture and medium porous grain.
