Standard A grade quarter sawn walnut veneer has a tendency to be uniform in color and typically allows for some defects such as occasional pin knots and very slight figure or flashing. It is typically book matched with the grain running along the 8' dimension. Walnut is a hardwood of medium density, very easy to work with and strong. It is light with an even moderately rough texture and medium porous grain.
