Standard A grade quarter sawn walnut veneer has a tendency to be even in color and typically allows for some flaws such as occasional pin knots and very slight figure or flashing. It is normally book matched with the grain running along the 8' dimension. Walnut is a hardwood of medium density, really easy to deal with and sturdy. It is light with an even moderately rough texture and medium porous grain.
