Standard A grade quarter sawn walnut veneer tends to be uniform in color and commonly allows for some defects such as occasional pin knots and very slight figure or flashing. It is normally book matched with the grain running along the 8' dimension. Walnut is a hardwood of medium density, really easy to deal with and sturdy. It is light with an even moderately rough texture and medium porous grain.
