Standard A grade quarter sawn walnut veneer has a tendency to be even in color and typically allows for some defects such as occasional pin knots and very slight figure or flashing. It is normally book matched with the grain running along the 8' dimension. Walnut is a hardwood of medium density, very easy to work with and sturdy. It is light with a consistent moderately rough texture and medium porous grain.
